Eight women from eight different countries shared similar accounts of hardship and persecution because of their shared faith in Jesus. They all surmounted adversity, nevertheless, to become heroines. To become leaders and pastors of the underground church in Pakistan, India, Romania, the former Soviet Union, China, Vietnam, Vietnam, Nepal, and Indonesia.
These women endured great difficulties. These range from the young Vietnamese girl who declined independence in order to spread the gospel in her communist country to the Australian missionary who, after her husband and boys were burnt to death in India, delivered the message of forgiveness and healing there.
